The Maine Users Union

The Maine Users Union was founded in 2023 and is led entirely by People Who Use Drugs currently experiencing homelessness in Bangor, ME. The Maine Users Union seeks to promote the human rights of drug users in the state of Maine. Current issues the union is focused on include mitigating the impacts of sweeps, addressing discrimination against the unhoused community, and pursuing justice in regards to human rights violations committed by local hospitals.
